sleepytime

I realized I haven’t documented anything I’ve worked on lately. That means either I have been too busy working on things to remember to log these activities or I haven’t been doing much. I fear the latter.

Things I can remember working on over the past couple of months: A solo map for Myth (unfinished), A ffa map for Myth (ditto), re-orging the kitchen and putting up some artwork. Hooking up a recent CSB find (A receiver) in the kitchen with the turntable and portable computer speakers to have a functioning turntable/stereo near the albums themselves. Not the most high tech or particularly high fidelity, but it’s better than nothing and works WAY better than having the turntable in the living room with the rest of the stereo. Learning a new paper delivery route. Helping design the most secure file transmission security process (with scripts) to ever be designed with standard over the counter free software tools (pgp/ftp) - hardest part was getting around the permissions issues around writing files when the job scheduler needs to run some scripts as itself and some as the end-user.

things i saw today while delivering papers

1) A grown man reduced to curses by his yappy high strung dog as he (the man) tried to get the leash back on his dog as it ran around my car for several minutes.

2) 3 piles of human sized excrement in a front yard.

3) A duck standing at the end of a driveway.
