a guy can dream can’t he?

…last night i dreamed I was at a yard sale or secondhand store/flea market and found 3 electronic / musical products/models I have never seen before. One was a guitar related electronics patch with built in effects kind of thing I can’t remember that well, one was a 1/2 size Les Paul 4 string hollowbody nylon stringed guitar (on reflection it sounds an waful lot like a ukelele), and one was a practice amp/effects pedal - it was kind of peter maxish, 60’s pop art looking - and was painted a bright solid color (yellow I think) - and was molded in the shape of a foot. I was torn between the ukelele and the (literal) foot pedal.

half remembered

I’ve been having those dreams again - the ones you don’t remember having, but then I’ll be walking somewhere in the middle of the day and I’ll remember something that didn’t happen - like remembering all of a sudden how nervous I am about this big paper I have to write. Which wouldn’t be odd if I were in school, or if I had been in school in the last 10-15 years or so. There are others I almost remember, but mostly they float just outside my peripheral waking memory.

Diving deeper into PHP, creating my own Databaseless php-text dynamic search and display routines so I can have less static html and more dynamic content - seperate data from presentation - what a concept. Looks like a database, with searchable fields but it’s all flat files with semi-formatted text files. Fun stuff after I got my head around PHP’s implementation of “multi-dimensional” arrays that aren’t really multidimensional.

Also getting back into RealBasic, creating tools I need to keep me from going insane as I create my latest Myth project.

I was happy…

Driving home in hazardous near whiteout conditions, slippery unplowed roads seeing lightning illuminate the sky in a flash of white.
