Weekday and Saturday morning cartoons have had all digitally animated shows for years so I am not sure why having one in “prime-time” is such a big deal (is there even a “prime-time” in the days of VCRs being replaced by TiVos?) but starting March 10, UPN will be airing “Game Over”, a completely digital show about the secret lives of Game Characters when they are “off-duty”.

Using nothing but the subject lines of email spam is just such a brilliant, inspired idea, I just wish I had thought of it. Even if you aren’t a big fan of poetry, if you appreciate semi-random goofiness, you will enjoy it. Just knowing this site exists made me smile.

Florence le Vot, a national hero in France known as a cancer survivor, a 2 time jet-ski world champion, and a stunt double for Angelina Jolie, confessed last week that she is actually none of those things. Turns out she is a hermaphrodite who created the cancer story to cover her absences from work while she was getting a series of operations to become (just) a woman. Why she lied about the rest isn’t all that clear. For now you can still see the fiction she claimed as her life on her personal website. The site is fascinating as it is hard to tell what is real and what is not. Some hilights? The Audio CD she released (hear samples), and the list of her awards and life accomplishments. I also found the jet ski fan site with the “hot babe” nude photos of Florence slightly amusing though I am not exactly sure why)
