In Massachusetts it is now illegal to shoot at a PICTURE of a human being or even a human shaped outline while doing target practice. I am not a gun advocate and I think violence is a really bad thing, but for some reason this bothers me. I am not sure why, unless it is pinging similar hackles of mine that were raised when the media tryed to describe the Columbine killers as Goths with all the fallout that ensued. What we do influences what we think and vice-versa, but I am not sure I believe that shooting at a target that has an outline of a person is going to make one more likely to kill someone. [link]
